Bored piles

Simple bored piles with slurry are drilled using Kelly-type drilling rigs.

The principle is based on drilling using augers and buckets where appropriate. The bentonite mud or casing ensures that the borehole holds.

The borehole can be cased only at the head and then continued under bentonitic mud.

At the end of the borehole, this bentonitic mud is desanded or replaced in the same way as for diaphragm walls, before the reinforcement is safely installed. Concrete is then poured using concrete columns positioned in the centre of the shaft.

This method is suitable for deep drilling.

We can make foundation piles from 620 mm to 1500 mm.
